Robert Ohanian is an experienced finance professional and commercial lending specialist with more than 20 years of experience in banking, business finance, and lending solutions. Currently serving as Director and Finance broker of New Leaf Financial Solutions, Robert helps individuals, property investors, and business owners secure tailored finance solutions that support their personal and commercial objectives.
Prior to moving into finance broking, Robert spent 15 years with Westpac, where he progressed through a range of senior positions, culminating in the role of Senior Relationship Manager within Commercial Banking. Throughout his banking career, he developed extensive expertise in commercial lending, property finance, asset and equipment finance, risk management, credit analysis, and relationship management.
Known for his client-focused approach, Robert combines strong financial analysis skills with a deep understanding of business and property finance to deliver strategic lending solutions. His experience spans business lending, commercial banking, investment and home loans, working capital facilities, and growth funding for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Robert holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking, a Certificate IV in Finance and Broking, and additional qualifications in business management. His commitment to professional excellence and customer advocacy has earned him a reputation for delivering personalised, practical, and results-driven financial guidance.
Based in Sydney, New South Wales, Robert is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals through informed decision-making and long-term financial strategies. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen supporter of Manchester United and the West Tigers.
